If your vSeeBox is not working properly, try a quick restart first. If the problem continues, you can restore the device to its factory settings.
Before You Reset
If your vSeeBox is still working normally and you can access the Home Screen, try restarting the device first.
If the problem continues after restarting, you can proceed with a factory reset.
Please note: A factory reset will erase data and settings stored on the device. You will need to complete the basic setup again after the reset.
There are two ways to factory reset a vSeeBox: through the system settings or by using the reset button in the AV port.
Method 1: Factory Reset Through System Settings
Use this method if you can still access the vSeeBox Home Screen.
Step 1: Open Settings
From the vSeeBox Home Screen, select:
Settings
Step 2: Open Device Preferences
Select:
Device Preferences
Step 3: Select Reset
Look for:
Reset
System Setting → Device Preferences → About → Factory Reset
Step 4: Confirm the Reset
Select:
Erase Everything
The vSeeBox will begin the reset process.
Wait for the device to complete the reset and restart. Do not disconnect the power while the reset is in progress.
Step 5: Set Up Your vSeeBox Again
After the reset, the device will return to the initial setup screen.
Follow the on-screen instructions to:
Select your language
Adjust the display
Set your time zone
Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet
Complete the setup
If you need help with the setup process, see our [vSeeBox Setup Guide].
Method 2: Factory Reset Using the AV Port
Use this method if your vSeeBox is stuck on the boot screen or you cannot access the system settings.
